BEDFORD BOOKS is the trading name for our "remainder" Book business. We are constantly seeking to make bulk purchases of "end-of-line" Christian books which we can pass on to our customers at bargain prices. Andrew Franks has been heading up this business since 1998

Finchley Christian Bookshops Ltd purchased BEDFORD BOOKS from Colin Bedford in 1998. Colin had established the business 40 years earlier when, as a Bible College student, he was keen to obtain books for himself and his fellow students. Over the years BEDFORD BOOKS grew into a significant resource for students and clergy around the UK and beyond. Since 1998 we have been able to continue to obtain significant quantities of "remaindered" Christian books to sell to individual shop and internet customers at excellent prices, while continuing Colin's routine of visiting Theological colleges with Book Sales. We also attend a number of major Christian gatherings with Bargain Book displays throughout the year and we are able to offer trade terms to other Christian Bookshops around the UK. Andrew Franks has now purchased Bedford Books from Finchley Christian Bookshops Ltd and hopes to develop the work even further.

Terms & Conditions

    All stock is subject to availability and most titles,  being “remainders”, cannot be re-stocked when sold out.

    We endeavour to despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt.

    Our preferred payment methods are credit or debit cards. These enable us to determine the value of your order at time of despatch, bearing in mind any out of stock titles or price changes (we will inform you before charging to your card if any prices have increased).   "Plastic" also saves us considerable time compared with issuing invoices,  thus speeding up our overall service.

    If you are unhappy with any purchase you make from us,  please return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund.  All returns must reach us in the same condition as you received them.

    We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time,  but will inform you if something you have ordered has a higher price than the current catalogue.

    We also reserve the right to adjust postage prices where circumstances necessitate a higher charge.
